Tek Bahadur Gurung from the Nepali Congress, Polden Chhopang Gurung from the UML, Yashoda Gurung (Subedi) from the NCP, Kubir Singh Gurung from the RPP, and Ram Bahadur Ghale from the Mongol National Organization registered their nominations.
Candidates from five political parties have filed their nominations in Manang. Candidates from the Nepali Congress, UML, CPN (Maoist), RPP and Mongol National Organization filed their nominations at the office of the Chief Electoral Officer on Tuesday.
According to the office, no one has registered nominations from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) or Swatantra.
Tek Bahadur Gurung from the Nepali Congress, Polden Chhopang Gurung from the UML, and Yashoda Gurung (Subedi) from the NCP have registered nominations. Tek Bahadur Gurung and Polden Chhopang Gurung have faced each other twice before. Both have won the election once each.
Similarly, Kubir Singh Gurung from the RPP and Ram Bahadur Ghale from the Mongol National Organization have registered nominations, according to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Manang.
