NCP leader Girirajmani Pokharel has registered his candidacy for the House of Representatives from Mahottari Constituency No. 1. This is Pokharel's fifth election journey, having been continuously contesting from this constituency since the first Constituent Assembly election in 2064 BS.
Pokharel, as the common candidate of the Left-Democratic alliance, reached the office of the Returning Officer along with Panchebaja and Dalbal and registered his nomination.
On the other hand, UML has also fielded the winner of the previous election, Laxmi Mahato Koiri, again in the election fray. Girirajmani Pokharel has been the main focus of this area in every election since 2064.
