Journalist Roshan Dani has filed his candidacy for the upcoming House of Representatives elections from Kathmandu Constituency No. 9 on behalf of the Rastriya Janamorcha. As per the party's decision, Dani has been directly nominated as a candidate for the House of Representatives.
Dani, who has extensive experience in journalism, is a central member of the Progressive Journalists Association of Nepal and the Kathmandu District President. He has been continuously raising his voice against social injustice, corruption, discrimination and oppression through journalism.
Active in organizing youth and involving them in social campaigns, Dani is also a central member of the Federation of Youth NGOs and a life member of the Nepal Red Cross Society. He has been contributing to the fields of disaster management, relief and humanitarian services.
The leader of the 'Youth Come, Save the Country' campaign, Dani is a campaigner who believes that free education and health services should be the responsibility of the state. He is also the former president of Thankot JCs.
