NCP candidate Renu Dahal has registered her candidacy in Chitwan Constituency No. 3. Dahal reached the office of the Returning Officer at the Agriculture and Forestry University in Rampur and registered her candidacy.

Dahal resigned from the post of mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City on Tuesday morning before filing her candidacy. After registering her candidacy, she said that she was not a competitor in the election field.

'People vote because the daughter of Bharatpur works. After winning by voting twice, she also wins from Constituency No. 3,' she said. She said that people will vote based on the development work done during her time as mayor.
