Deepak Raj Joshi has filed his candidacy for the post of member of the House of Representatives in Tanahun Constituency No. 1. Joshi filed his candidacy on Tuesday at the office of the Chief Electoral Officer in Damauli.

Neupane got 12,078 votes while independent candidate Joshi, who entered the fray with the support of UML, got 11,826 votes.
