Pun, who is also a former finance minister, is running for the third time from Rolpa. He had previously won from Rolpa, considered a base constituency for the NCP, in the 2074 and 2079 elections.
NCP leader Barshaman Pun Ananta has reached his home district of Rolpa to register his candidacy for the upcoming House of Representatives elections scheduled for February 21.
Pun, who entered his home district along with his wife, former Speaker Onsari Gharti, and leader Jhakku Subedi, was welcomed by party workers and locals at Sunil Smriti Rural Municipality-4, Sulichour.
