The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has finalized its candidates for 10 constituencies in Kathmandu. The RPP has given repeated tickets to Rabindra Mishra in Kathmandu 1 and Kunti Pokharel in Kathmandu 2.
They were candidates from the same constituency in the 2079 House of Representatives elections. Shahi was defeated by Sobita Gautam of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, while Mishra was defeated by Prakash Man Singh of the Nepali Congress.
Similarly, Sundar Singh Bohora has been nominated in Kathmandu 3, Surendra Bhandari in Kathmandu 4, Kamal Thapa in Kathmandu 5, Uddhav Bhetuwal in Kathmandu 6, Lal Kumar Lama in Kathmandu 7, Navin Shahi in Kathmandu 8, Dilip Karki in Kathmandu 9, and Balram Thapa in Kathmandu 10. There has been a dispute over the distribution of tickets for Kathmandu 5 by the RPP. Kamal Thapa, who was previously a candidate from Makawanpur, has left the party along with local RPP leaders Hikmat Jung Karki after he was given a ticket for Kathmandu 5.
