He said that even though Janakpur is the capital of the province, the compulsion to go to Kathmandu to bring administrative officers should be ended.

The Nationalist Swatantra Party (NSWP) has started its election campaign from Janakpur, the capital of Madhesh Province. Addressing an election rally named 'Parivartan Udghosh Sabha' on Monday, top leaders of the NSWP had sought votes saying 'Now, this time, the government will not be formed'.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) had promised to nominate senior leader Balendra Shah (Balen) as the Prime Minister amid a large number of supporters present in Tirhutiya Ganchi, Janakpur. Balen had arrived in Janakpur on Sunday afternoon to attend the meeting. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) President Ravi Lamichhane had reached Janakpur on Monday.
Leader Amresh Kumar Singh, who had been in politics with the Congress for a long time but won the election as an independent from Sarlahi in the 2079 BS elections, has also joined the RSS. Singh had gone to Janaki Temple to offer prayers with Balen on Monday morning.
Balen addressed the meeting in Maithili. He started and ended his 20-minute speech in Maithili by saying, ‘Kena ki ai ta’ (What is it?). ‘It’s not a speech, I am a working man. I work. Will you give me work?’ Balen said, ‘People say I don’t meet them. I was busy as mayor for four years when I was in the metropolis. I have resigned, I am free. This is the first time I am coming to Janakpur to give a speech.'
During Balen's address, the slogans of 'Balen-Balen' were constantly being chanted. 'The province will be made stronger. The work of the province is not to connect the water supply to the wards,' he said, 'We should work related to two or three municipalities.'
He said that even though Janakpur is the capital of the province, the compulsion to go to Kathmandu to bring an administrative officer should be ended. 'Let's go to Kathmandu to demand rights, go around Pashupati and Swayambhu,' Balen said, 'That's why a Madhesi son becomes the Prime Minister. We want to form the right government, so vote for him.'
Balen, dressed in white kurta-pyjamas and a black half-bandi, wrapped a gamchha in the Janakpur assembly. After worshiping at the Janaki Temple on Monday morning, he reached Lahan in Siraha, where he laid a wreath at the memorial of those who were martyred during the Madhesh movement. From there, he reached Mawali village in Baniga, Mithila Municipality, Dhanusha on his way back.
At the election rally, RSP President Ravi Lamichhane said that the government that shot children during the Gen-G movement would be held accountable for the injustice done to the country and Madhesh. Lamichhane also claimed that he was ousted from parliament through a conspiracy. He said, “Earlier, I entered parliament as the MP with the highest number of votes. Now, I will enter parliament as the party with the highest number of votes.”
He also recalled the conversation he had with Balen before signing the agreement. He recounted the experience of a bright sun shining the day after he and Balen met. Lamichhane also said that Balen and he had told each other dreams during the conversation. He said, “Our conversation was over in five minutes. The extra time was spent getting to know each other better.”
Stating that there were no Madhesh supporters and no Himalayan supporters, Lamichhane said, “There are no Madhesh supporters here.” All are Nepalists.’
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has claimed that its dream has now come true, saying that it had planted advanced seeds in Madhesh earlier. ‘Many told us that you did not get many votes in Madhesh, that the people of Madhesh do not love you. But I knew that Madhesh loves you,’ Lamichhane said, ‘That is why advanced seeds were planted in Madhesh. That seed has grown and borne fruit today. Today’s presence is the same seed planted yesterday. This is not just a seed, it is a dream that was seen in all of your eyes. Now Madhesh will take that dream back. Even though it came late to Madhesh, it came at the right time.’
At the meeting, party Vice President DP Aryal said that Madhesh was lagging behind in the Human Development Index due to the lack of leaders who understand and develop Madhesh. He claimed that Madhesh was going to get a Prime Minister for the progress of the country along with the development of Madhesh.
Another Vice President Swarnim Wagle said that the RSSW is not against federalism. ‘The Janakpur assembly has also given the message that the RSVP is not against federalism,’ he said, ‘but the federal structure needs reform. The mischief and distortions in the name of federalism must end.’
Amresh Kumar Singh, who joined the party from the assembly, claimed that Balen would become the prime minister, calling himself a soldier of Ravi-Balen.
RSVP leader Sobita Gautam said that the party is going to make a son from Madhesh the prime minister. She said that the RSVP would make Balen, who was born in Madhesh, the prime minister. Stating that Madhesh should be at the forefront to change the situation of the country, she said, ‘Madhesh must be the leader to change the fate of this country.’
RSVP spokesperson Manish Jha announced that he would be a candidate from Dhanusha constituency number 3.
