The Rastriya Prajatantra Party has finalized its candidates for both constituencies in West Nawalparasi. The party has fielded 29-year-old central member Navneet Kumar Mishra as its candidate in Constituency No. 1, while it has decided to field party vice-president Dhubra Bahadur Pradhan as its candidate in Constituency No. 2.
Pradhan had won the last election for the House of Representatives from Constituency No. 2.
RPP Lumbini Province Vice-Chairman Manohar Jung Rayamajhi said that the party has made Mishra its candidate in line with the belief that the youth should be represented and given opportunities in politics.
Although the CPN-UML, Nepali Communist Party and other parties in the district have finalized their candidates, the Nepali Congress has not yet been able to select a candidate.
