The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) has nominated Ramesh Malla as its candidate for the House of Representatives election from Salyan. NCP Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Co-Coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal have decided to nominate Malla.
Former ministers Prakash Jwala and Tek Bahadur Basnet had also aspired for a ticket from Salyan. After discussing with all three aspirants, Dahal and Nepal decided to field Malla as their candidate.
Malla has become the chairman of Akhil Krantikari. He was also the chief personal secretary of Maoist chairman Dahal for some time.
