Janata Samajwadi Party, Nepal Vice President and former Minister Rajkishore Yadav has returned to Siraha-4. Earlier elected from Siraha-2, he will contest the election from Siraha-4 this time.
He won the Siraha-2 seat in the 2079 general election, defeating former minister and Nepali Congress leader Chitralekha Yadav. Rajkishore got 24,178 votes while Chitralekha got 23,288 votes.
Yadav is also a resident of Siraha-4. Before Siraha-2, he had won the election from Siraha-4 in the 2074 election. He first won from the former Siraha-6 seat in 2063, but was defeated in the 2070 election.
Yadav has been a minister twice and a parliamentary committee chairman once.
