The Nepali Congress has finalized its candidates for the House of Representatives in Dang's constituencies 1 and 2. However, a decision has yet to be made in constituency 3.

Yogendra Chaudhary, who became the joint general secretary from the special general convention, has been nominated as the candidate in Constituency No. 1, while Kiran Kishore Ghimire has been nominated as the candidate in Constituency No. 2. Ghimire is contesting the election for the first time.

Chaudhary had become a member of the Constituent Assembly from the then Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Loktantrik led by Vijay Kumar Gachhadar. Chaudhary, who was close to Sher Bahadur Deuba after joining the Congress, recently became the joint general secretary by participating in the special general convention led by Gagan Thapa.

The Nepali Communist Party has nominated Metmani Chaudhary as the candidate from Constituency No. 1, while the UML has not yet finalized its candidate. Devraj Pathak has been nominated as the candidate from the National Independent Party.

In Constituency No. 2, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel from the CPN (UML), Nirmal Acharya from the Nepali Communist Party, and Bipin Kumar Acharya from the National Independent Party have been nominated as the candidates.

In Constituency No. 3, the Congress has not yet finalized its candidate. Former central member and MP Deepak Giri, District President Shankar Prasad Dangi and Keshav Acharya are in the running for the post. In this constituency, UML has fielded Ghanshyam Pandey, Nepali Communist Party has fielded Dhan Bahadur Maski and Rastriya Swatantra Party has fielded Kamal Subedi.
