Janmat Party Chairman Dr. CK Raut has made a statement that Madhesh people will not believe, saying that the National Independent Party's intentions towards federalism are not right.

Raut made this comment while paying homage to the martyrs of the Madhesh movement in Lahan.

Raut alleges that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has adopted a policy of garnering votes from the Madhesh people by putting forward Balendra Shah, who never calls himself a Madhesh, as a son of Madhesh in order to end federalism, which was achieved through the sacrifices of the Madhesh people. 

'Madhesh will resist those who burn the provincial assembly and say they do not want provinces and federalism, the Madhesh people will not believe them,' Raut said, 'In national politics, the votes of Madhesh are decisive, they have a conspiracy to become a big force by garnering Madhesh votes and end federalism.'

Raut said that Madhesh needs a leader who will fight for Madhesh's self-respect, self-respect, rights and federalism, and that he will not allow any conspiracy of such people to succeed.
