In Dolpa, which has a single constituency, Dhan Bahadur Budha has got a ticket from the Nepali Communist Party, while Karna Budha has got a ticket from the Nepali Congress. Brother Dhan Bahadur has been a member of the House of Representatives three times in a row and a minister twice from Dolpa. He won the 2070, 2074 and 2079 elections with a landslide victory. He has previously been affiliated with the RPP, CPN-UML, and Unified Socialist Party, and is now affiliated with the Nepali Communist Party.
He has been saying that he has a magic wand to win and field candidates in local, provincial and federal elections in Dolpa.
After two brothers from the same family got tickets from different parties, the election competition in the district has been viewed as interesting.
Karna Budha is also the joint general secretary of the Nepali Congress. He was a central member when Sher Bahadur Deuba was the president. Before joining the Congress, he was affiliated with the RPP.
Thus, in Dolpa, Lanka Bahadur Rokaya from the CPN-UML, Dil Bahadur Bista from the Ujjaya Nepal Party, Bikash Budha from the Progressive Democratic Party, Dev Singh Aidi from the Rashtriya Swatantra Party, and Omendra KC from the Independent are preparing to file their candidacies.
