The Nepali Congress has finalized its candidates for both constituencies in Gulmi. The candidates for both the House of Representatives constituencies of Gulmi-1 and 2 have been finalized, said Nepali Congress Gulmi President Khildhwaj Panthi.
According to him, Congress leader Dr. Chandra Bhandari will be the candidate in Gulmi-1. He is a former central member of the Congress. Bhandari, who won the previous election in this constituency, is also a candidate from this constituency.
Bhuwan Prasad Shrestha has become the candidate from the Congress in Gulmi-2. Shrestha, who is also the vice president of the Lumbini Province Congress, is the former president of the Congress Gulmi. He was previously defeated as a member of the Provincial Assembly in Gulmi-2 (1).
There are 122,186 voters in Gulmi-1. There are 177,363 voters in Gulmi-2. Earlier, Bhandari of the Congress and Gokarna Bista of the UML had won from Gulmi-2.
