Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP) President Rabi Lamichhane and senior leader Balendra Shah, who have started their election journey from Janakpur, have left for Chitwan and Jhapa respectively late last night to file their candidacies in the House of Representatives elections. They had been travelling by road from Janakpur a while ago.
Lamichhane and Balendra, who had rested for some time at the Mithila Yatri Niwas Hotel after the Parivartan Udghash meeting in Tirhutiya Ganchi, Janakpur, left for the nomination of candidates.
According to Dhanusha Superintendent of Police Rugam Kunwar, both Lamichhane and Balen have left Janakpur. 'I am still at the hotel where they are staying, the ticket distribution program is going on,' SP Kunwar said, 'But we have been informed that Lamichhane has left for Chitwan and Balen for Jhapa.'
