Congress leader Shekhar Koirala is holding discussions with his group leaders and well-wishers.

Former Joint General Secretary Jeevan Pariyar, who is going to discuss the latest developments within the party at Anupam Foodland in Battisputali, said.

Koirala has been saying that he will stand where the party's tree symbol and flag are after the Election Commission gave legitimacy to the new working committee elected from the special general convention.

While leaders of Sher Bahadur Deuba's faction are saying that they will fight a political and legal battle against the Election Commission's decision, Koirala has given a message that they cannot be separated from the mainstream of the Congress.

'The leaders of our group will remain where the tree symbol and flag are, there is no question of opening a separate party or running an independent candidacy,' Pariyar said, 'Shekhar Dai is discussing this with all his friends.'

Leaders of the Deuba faction had gone to the Supreme Court today against the commission's decision. However, after the hearing was not held today and the presentation was fixed for the 6th, leader Koirala has started consulting with leaders of his group.
