Meeting of newly elected Central Working Committee of Nepali Congress continues, these are the main 3 agendas

A meeting of the newly elected Central Working Committee, chaired by Congress President Gagan Thapa, is being held at a party palace in Baneshwor.

The meeting is being discussed on three agendas. The main issues under discussion are calling on everyone to return to unite the party, forming a parliamentary committee of the party for ticket distribution, and deciding on the prime ministerial candidate.

The first meeting was held after the Election Commission updated the new working committee led by Thapa and gave it official status on Friday.

Meanwhile, a meeting held in Sanepa by former President Sher Bahadur Deuba's faction has decided to move forward for legal and constitutional remedies against the Election Commission's decision.

Shekhar Koirala and leaders of his faction were also present at the meeting called by former Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka. "Since the Election Commission's decision is against the party's statute and the constitution, it has been decided to seek legal redress," said former spokesperson Prakash Sharan Mahat after the meeting. "It has been decided to protest politically as well."
