Vice President of the Nepali Congress led by Gagan Thapa, Bishwo Prakash Sharma, has said that the election should be held on time. Sharma, who reached the Election Commission on Friday to provide information regarding the official status, said that the election should not be stopped due to the controversy within the Congress.

He also informed that the Congress led by Gagan Thapa will finalize all the candidates within two days. 

Informing that the parliamentary board has been formed, he said that they are working to finalize the candidates in all 165 constituencies. He also urged not to delay the decision given by the commission. 

‘There are 4 days left for Magh 6. We want to inform you about this. After the meeting held under the leadership of party president Gagan Thapa, the parliamentary board has also been formed and our team is working in readiness to finalize the candidates for all 165 constituencies within the next two days,’ Sharma said, ‘The manifesto team is working. The election should be held on time. We are fully supporting it. It should not be affected in any way. Do not delay the decision of the Election Commission on this.’ 

He said that after the commission gives its decision, they will help create an atmosphere for elections across the country.
