The first meeting of the 48-member Central Coordination Committee formed after the merger of the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal and the Democratic Samajwadi Party Nepal has begun.
The meeting called at the party's central office in Balkumari on Thursday afternoon was attended by party patron Mahantha Thakur, chairman Upendra Yadav and members of the Central Coordination Committee. The meeting is discussing the organizational structure, coordination, future direction and contemporary political activities after the party's unification.
The discussion has started with a focus on the National Assembly elections to be held on Magh 11 and the House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21. The party's strategy for the elections, candidate selection and management, and alliance-related agendas are being discussed.
The leaders are continuing to share their views and suggestions in the meeting according to the agenda.
