The first meeting of the Central Committee elected by the Congress Special General Convention is being held.

According to Congress Joint General Secretary Udaya Shumsher Jabra, a meeting of the central committee is scheduled to be held in Kupandol, Lalitpur. The meeting will be held at 10:30 am.

The first meeting of the Central Working Committee elected by the Nepali Congress Special General Convention is underway. This is the first meeting of the Central Committee after Gagan Thapa was elected as the President by the Special General Convention.

According to Congress Joint General Secretary Udaya Shamsher Jabra, a meeting of the central committee is going to be held in Kupandol, Lalitpur.

The meeting will be held at 10:30 am. It is said that various issues including preparations for the upcoming election scheduled for Falgun 21 will be discussed from the first meeting itself.

Similarly, since the new leadership has been selected from the special general convention of the party, there is an agenda to discuss issues including going to the Election Commission for updating documents. 

The special general convention of the Congress unanimously elected the office bearers and the central committee under the leadership of Thapa on Wednesday night.
