Nepali Communist Party Coordinator and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the election campaign will focus on a door-to-door campaign to reach out to the people.

Stating that the practice of holding large meetings is outdated, he said that his party will intensify its door-to-door campaign in the upcoming elections so that it can directly meet the people.

Speaking at an integration program with the Suman Sayami-led Rastriya Mukti Party Nepal (Ekta Pakshadhar), he said that the party will adopt a policy of emphasizing the use of information technology to attract the youth to its party in the elections. Coordinator Dahal also called on the entire party cadre to join the party's election campaign, promising not to repeat the mistakes made in the past. On the occasion, he also claimed that his party will win in all the constituencies of the Kathmandu Valley.

'The elections are coming, instead of holding large meetings, it is important to directly meet the people in their homes and neighborhoods and explain our resolutions and agenda to them. The days of holding large meetings to get more votes are long gone,' he said, 'We have already appealed to all seven provinces. Now, we will go to people's homes and neighborhoods and tell them our agenda, we want them to learn from past mistakes and not repeat them. And, it is important to explain to the people that we want to take the leadership of this country.'

Coordinator Dahal also argued that since leaders including Sayami, who understand the problems of Kathmandu, have joined his party, his party is in a position to win in all constituencies in the Kathmandu Valley.
