The Nepali Communist Party and the Rastriya Mukti Party have merged. Suman Sayami, senior vice-chairman and cultural activist of the Rastriya Mukti Party, has joined the NCP.

The group including Sayami joined the NCP in a program held at the National Assembly building on Wednesday.

Sayami, the leader of the movement against the Guthi Bill and the protection of cultural heritage in the valley, has joined the NCP. The NCP is preparing to make Sayami a candidate in Kathmandu 8.

The memorandum of understanding signed by NCP coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal and co-coordinator Madhav Nepal and Mukti Party senior vice-president Sayami has been signed.

The structural judicial cooperatives are serious about the victims and political unity is necessary, so they have united in the agreement reached to fight for the rights and privileges of the victims, establish socialism with democracy, national integrity, and identity.

The agreement also mentions amending the constitution to make people-oriented reforms in the form of governance, and making inclusive representation mandatory.
