Congress leader Gagan Thapa, who supports the special general convention, has reacted to the action taken by the Deuba faction of the Congress, calling it an unconstitutional and chaotic decision.

Addressing the special general convention hall, Thapa said that the action taken against them is not as a party but as a company limited. 'Is this how the Congress runs? Is this how it is done when taking action? Don't we even have to ask for clarification? If we ask a private company, we are the general secretaries of the party.'
