Nepali Congress leader Shyam Kumar Ghimire has said that discussions and negotiations among leaders to resolve the recent disputes within the party have progressed positively.

Responding to media persons before the start of the Congress Central Committee meeting at the party's central office, Sanepa, Lalitpur, he informed that discussions are ongoing among the party leaders to resolve the dispute. Ghimire, who is also the outgoing chief whip of the party, said, 'Talks are underway, we are confident that the talks will take shape. We will reach a consensus point tonight, and tomorrow we will move the party forward together.'
