The special general convention of the Nepali Congress has passed the procedure for conducting the special general convention.

The procedure passed by the general convention delegates in the closed session has provisions such as the proposals to be presented at the general convention, the process for passing the proposals, the quorum, the central election committee, and the removal of obstacles. 

The closed session that began on Monday morning at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, passed the 'Nepali Congress Special Central Convention Procedures 2082'. 

'Since it is desirable for the special central convention convened pursuant to Article 17, Clause (2) of the Nepali Congress Statute, 2017 (with amendments) to formulate procedures to regularize and organize its work, the Congress Special Convention Procedures 2082 have been formulated and implemented by exercising the powers vested in the supreme authority pursuant to Article 5 of the Statute,' the preamble to the procedure states.
