JSP Nepal and LOSPA have merged. JSP Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav and LOSPA Chairman Mahantha Thakur signed the merger agreement on Sunday. After the merger, the party will be named JSP Nepal and the election symbol will be umbrella.

Now, it has been agreed that Upendra Yadav will be the party chairman and Mahantha Thakur will be the patron. As per the agreement reached in Kathmandu, a 43-member central coordination committee has been formed to run JSP Nepal in an integrated manner. The same committee will form an 11-member secretariat. JSP Nepal and LOSPA had agreed to unify the party on 13 Poush. 

Currently, Mahantha Thakur, Upendra Yadav, Arjun Thapa, Asheshwar Yadav, Umakant Jha, Chandeshwar Paswan, Jitendra Prasad Sonar, Umesh Yadav, Tara Bishwakarma, Deepak Karki, Nirjala Raut, Prakash Adhikari and Parmeshwar Sah have been selected as central coordination members. Similarly, Balbir Nepali, Brushesh Chandra Lal, Dr. Vijay Kumar Singh, Binod Kumar Singh, Mrigendra Kumar Singh Yadav, Minash Kumar Mishra, Mukesh Kumar Jha, Md. Khalid Siddiqui, Renukumari Yadav, Ramesh Prasad Kurmi, Ramkumar Sharma, Rajkumar Rai, Rakma Chemjong and Lalbabu Raut are also among the central coordination members. 

Other members include Lakpa Sherpa, Laxman Lal Karna, Sharat Singh Bhandari, Sarvendra Nath Shukla, Dr. Surendra Kumar Jha, Dr. Shivaji Yadav, Dr. Surendra Kumar Yadav, Suresh Mandal and Suni Lama. Similarly, Hridayesh Tripathi, Harinarayan Yadav, Lalkishore Sah, Chandeshwor Prasad Singh, Pramila Yadav, Zainul Rain and Leeladevi Sitaula have also been elected as central coordination members.

The agreement states that the Central Coordination Committee will play the role of the organization's operation, mobilization, direction and decision-making committee until the central committees of both parties are integrated. Similarly, the Central Coordination Committee will mobilize all levels and bodies and fraternal and well-wishing organizations under both parties. 

The agreement also states that the party organization and the organizations affiliated to the party will remain active in their respective places and areas of work under the party until the adjustment is made. The agreement also states that Patron Thakur and Chairman Yadav will jointly sign the nomination papers to be submitted for candidates in the House of Representatives elections scheduled for 21 Falgun.
