Dahal said that youth will be prioritized in the proportional closed list as well and that youth and young people from the Gen-G generation will be nominated as candidates in the direct list.
Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the party will field youth as candidates in the upcoming elections.
At the Gen-G awareness and large-scale cultural program organized by Gen-G Red Force on Sunday, he said that he would prioritize youth in the nomination of candidates.
Dahal said that he has prioritized youth in the proportional closed list as well and will field youth and young people of the Gen-G generation as candidates in the direct election. He also informed that preparations are underway to strengthen the presence of youth in the party's central committee.
Dahal said, "We have tried to give high priority to the youth and young people who are known as the Gen-G generation, whether in the process of party formation or in the elections, while preparing the proportional list or in the direct election."
He said that he was trying to address thousands of youth by putting forward Muskan Khatun of the Gen-G generation. Dahal has instructed the fraternal organizations not to adopt the former Maoist style while organizing programs. He also said that everyone should now not be Maoists but should be involved in the spirit of the Nepali Communist Party.
