The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal and the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LOSP) have merged.

A merger agreement was reached today between JSP Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav and LSP Chairman Mahantha Thakur. 

After the merger, the party's name will be JSP Nepal and the election symbol will be umbrella. Now, Upendra Yadav will be the party's chairman and Mahantha Thakur will be the patron.
