Ujjaya Nepal Party Chairman Kulman Ghising has said that his party will contest the elections alone. At a press conference organized at the party office on Saturday, he claimed that the party will field candidates in 165 constituencies and will cooperate with those who are interested.
He claimed that he had taken the party membership today and elected the chairman today, and now he will work day and night to build the party organization.
He claimed that he would make it effective nationwide under his leadership in the coming days. He also thanked everyone, including those who led the party two months ago.
Chairman Ghising also said that the 12 days after the agreement with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Poush 14 were extremely painful. He also said that the RSS had unilaterally broken the agreement. 'We had not done any bargaining. I had gone down to the rank of vice-chairman. Today was the last time I tried to reach an agreement.
