Rastriya Swatantra Party President Rabi Lamichhane has warned against campaigning as a candidate immediately after joining the party.
Speaking at a party induction program organized in Bharatpur on Thursday, Lamichhane said that the time has come for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to move forward with one candidate at a time. ‘We will now have to pay attention at all levels. We should stop announcing that we are a candidate as soon as we join the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and move forward with discipline,’ said President Lamichhane.
He claimed that if we do not make mistakes in fielding candidates in the House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21, we will not lose a single seat. ‘If we do not make mistakes in selecting candidates according to the needs of the nation, we will not lose a single seat, but for that, we have to take a step back,’ he said.
He warned the main parties not to even have opposition parties in the elections this time, saying that they should write their own future. He said, ‘We will write our own future, we will not even have them as opposition parties, why should we keep them?’ To shoot young children in the chest and head with a tacit bullet?''
Chairman Lamichhane warned the big parties not to dream of reviving the parliament. 'Beware if you are reviving a parliament that will go beyond the peak of injustice and tyranny and oppress the Nepali people with a two-thirds majority, protect your own people, and trap your opponents. The parliament will come, it will come with a new mandate.''
