Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that there will be no alliance with any party in the National Assembly and House of Representatives member elections.

Talking to media persons at the party's central office in Parisdanda on Tuesday, he said that there has been no talk of forming an alliance with any party and there will be no talk. He also insisted that he was not afraid of the unity between Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah and the National Independent Party. 'We are not afraid of the Ravi-Balen alliance at all. Ravi has been made the Home Minister in my cabinet twice. I do not have to wait for a Sunday to talk to him.'

He reiterated that he was not afraid of anyone and also said that the NCP would go to the people alone in the upcoming elections.

He claimed that he had visited India for party work and said that he had informal discussions with some leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party during that time.

He said, 'You know that after our party was unified, we held unity message meetings in all the provinces. A unity meeting was also held in Delhi. I mainly went to India for that purpose. Now, after going there, various kinds of meetings are held. Our ambassador came, several Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders came. They welcomed us, they respected us. But no such formal talks have taken place.’
