Preparations have been made to form 18 committees for the management of the special general convention. Among them, the Information and Publicity Committee has been formed under the leadership of Subash Pokharel. Baldev Timilsina is the co-coordinator of the committee.

The leaders in favor of the general convention are going to form committees for accommodation and food management, coordination of former district presidents and former central members, public mobilization and procession management, management, provincial MP coordination, former MP coordination, platform management, volunteer mobilization, district liaison, fraternal and well-wishing organizations, public relations, local level coordination, health camps, cultural programs, Gen-G youth mobilization, and district focal person coordination. 

Pokharel, coordinator of the publicity committee, said, "We are doing this work that the central working committee itself should do," he said, "We have delayed forming some committees because the central working committee can call them."
