The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has elected 26 members of Balendra Shah's team and 7 members of Bibeksheel Sajha as central committee members.

Balendra Shah has been nominated as a central member and made a 'senior leader' in the process of assigning responsibilities. Similarly, Balendra Shah and his team include Sunil Lamsal, Bhupdev Shah, Sasmit Pokharel, Sagar Dhakal, Laxman Tharu, Ramesh Poudel and Khagendra Sunar. Sunar was the chairman of Hamro Party Nepal, but he joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Balendra's side. Similarly, Ganesh Poudel, Santosh Giri, Namita Yadav, Sarita Gyawali, James Karki, Sushant Vaidik, Laxmi Bardewa, Shiv Yadav, Rohan Karki, Anantaraj Ghimire, Ram Kumar Dhungana, Pradeep Gyawali, Madhusudhan Dhakal, Ojaswi Thapa, KP Khanal, Aditya Acharya, Pradeep Pandey and Khemraj Saud have been selected as central members on Balendra's behalf.

A unity agreement was reached between RSP President Ravi Lamichhane and Balendra Shah on 13 Poush. According to the agreement, it was agreed to make Balendra the Prime Minister if he gets a majority after the upcoming elections and to adjust the leaders in the RSP. Similarly, a seven-point agreement was reached between the RSP and Kulman Ghising's Ujjaj Nepal Party (UNEPA) on 14 Poush. Before that, the Bibeksheel Sajha Party was merged with the RSP on 14 Mangsir.

It was agreed to assign responsibilities to the members and advisors of Bibeksheel Sajha by properly adjusting them in the central, provincial and local level structures. As per the agreement, the RSP Central Committee meeting held on Sunday nominated 7 leaders from Bibeksheel Sajha as central committee members. The leaders nominated as central members are Samiksha Baskota, Prakash Chandra Pariyar, Suraj Pradhan, Nawaraj Thapa, Ashutosh Pradhan, Dhanej Thapa and Ranju Darshana.

The central committee meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has also decided to increase the number of office bearers. The meeting decided to add 5 office bearers including the vice-president. Spokesperson Manish Jha informed that the decision to increase the number of office bearers was taken for the party's unification and expansion. The meeting added the posts of one vice-president, one general secretary, one joint general secretary and one joint spokesperson. Spokesperson Jha informed that it was decided to 'add the number of office bearers to be included in the amendment to the party statute to implement the agreement made by the party earlier in the course of party unification and expansion'.

Currently, there are two vice-presidents in the RSS. The post of vice-president has been added to implement the agreement with Ghising. Similarly, currently, there is one general secretary in the RSS. While Kavindra Burlakoti is the general secretary, one general secretary post has been added to make two. Currently, there is Bipin Acharya, the joint general secretary in the RSS. After Sumana Shrestha left the party, one joint general secretary post is vacant. With the addition of one more joint general secretary, there will be three joint general secretaries in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Pratibha Rawal and Ramesh Prasai are joint spokespersons in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has informed that one of these two will be withdrawn and only two joint spokespersons will be retained.

Leaders have said that Balendra's side is preparing to send Sunil Lamsal as the general secretary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Bhupdev Shah as the joint general secretary, and Sasmit Pokharel as the joint spokesperson. An agreement has not yet been reached on assigning responsibilities to the remaining leaders. Bhupdev Shah said, 'We are in the discussion phase to give responsibilities to the leaders. Three people have been told to give the responsibility of office bearers. The way is open to appointing other good people to other responsibilities, from party office bearers to others.'

Leaders from the party of Kulman Ghising, who joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), have not been assigned responsibilities. Kulman faction leader Raju Thapa, who could not be included in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Sunday due to internal discussions and uncertainty over how many people will be included in the central committee, informed. ‘The matter of adjustment is still under discussion.’ The number of people in the central committee has not been decided. Talks are underway to finalize it soon,’ he said.

Spokesperson Jha said that discussions on bringing Kulman faction to the central committee have reached the final stage. ‘A consensus has been reached in principle to bring them to the central committee.’ The number of people is yet to be decided. It will be decided soon.’ After that, the responsibilities of the office bearers will also be decided,’ Jha said.
