Nepali Communist Party Coordinator and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is on a visit to India, has met with National Security Advisor to the Indian Prime Minister Ajit Doval.
Dahal, who had reached India for a party program, met Doval on Sunday evening immediately after landing in Delhi. Doval himself had met with Dahal at the Tajman Singh Hotel where he was staying.
Sources have said that the meeting was kept secret. According to the source, Dahal and Doval had discussed for more than an hour. Similarly, Dahal is also said to have met with some leaders of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.
Dahal had planned a 'surprise' trip to Delhi to attend a party program. He is preparing to return to Kathmandu on Monday evening.
