The number of office bearers of the National Independent Party is set to increase. The meeting of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party Central Committee on Sunday decided to add four more office bearers, including the vice-president.

Spokesperson Manish Jha informed that the RSVP has decided to increase the number of office bearers for party unification and expansion.

According to the RSVP decision, one each of the posts of Vice President, General Secretary, Joint General Secretary and Joint Spokesperson has been added. Spokesperson Jha informed that it has been decided to increase the number of office bearers to be included in the amendment to the party statute for the implementation of the agreement made earlier by the party during the party unification and expansion.

Currently, there are two Vice Presidents in the RSVP. It was agreed to make Kulman Ghising the Vice President by merging with the Ujjaya Nepal Party. The post of Vice President has been added to implement the agreement.

Similarly, there is currently one General Secretary in the RSVP. While Kabindra Burlakoti is the General Secretary, one General Secretary post has been added to make two.

Currently, there is one Joint General Secretary in the RSVP, Bipin Acharya. The post of Joint General Secretary is vacant after Sumana Shrestha left the party. With the addition of one Joint General Secretary, there will be three Joint General Secretaries in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Pratibha Rawal and Ramesh Prasai are the Joint Spokespersons in the RSS. Now, the number of Joint Spokespersons will be increased to three by adding one.
