Energy Minister Kulman Ghising is set to become the vice-president of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). In talks held on Monday between RSS President Rabi Lamichhane, Kathmandu Mayor Balendra Shah and Ghising, it was agreed that all three would be together.

Ghising will get about 17 percent of the proportional list to be submitted to the Election Commission on Monday. Accordingly, at least 18 names from the Kulman faction will be added to the proportional list to be submitted by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Earlier, the RSSS had offered him 10 percent. However, he had been insisting on demanding 30 percent. Earlier, the Balendra faction and the RSSS were preparing to submit the list to the Election Commission by including the names selected through internal elections.
