Minister for Energy, Irrigation and Water Resources Kulman Ghising has participated in the central committee meeting of the Ujjaya Nepal Party.

He met Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah on Saturday morning and is informing the party central committee about the proposal for cooperation.

Balen is trying to include Kulman as well after the National Independent Party (RSP) proposed cooperation. A central member said that Ghising will inform about the recent developments in this regard.

While the Rabi-Balen discussions were going on, he said at a program organized in Kathmandu on Saturday that ‘unity does not mean eliminating others’. ‘Acknowledging the existence of everyone and moving forward in a way that respects everyone is true unity,’ he had said.

Minister Ghising is scheduled to leave for Pokhara after the party meeting.
