Narayan Kaji Shrestha's name recommended in Gorkha-2, 5 names each from both constituencies sent to the center
The NCP, Gorkha has recommended the name of Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Constituency No. 1 for the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21.
The names were recommended to the central committee on Thursday after a decision was made at Wednesday's office meeting, said NCP central member Amar Tamu.
In Gorkha Constituency No. 1, the names of Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Hariraj Adhikari, Jagannath Khanal, Shobha Lamichhane and Sagar Shrestha have been recommended. Dahal had won from Gorkha Constituency No. 2 in the previous 2079 election.
Similarly, the names of Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Lekhnath Neupane, Hitraj Pandey, Sanumaya Basnet and Anish Aryal have been recommended from Constituency No. 2, Tamu said. 'We have recommended the names of 5 people each from both constituencies,' said Tamu.
