The Ujjaya Nepal Party (UNEP) and the Sarvodaya Party (SP) have announced an electoral alliance. The alliance was announced at a program organized in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

Both parties have decided to jointly contest the elections using the election symbol of the Ujjaya Nepal Party, 'Baleko Chim', based on mutual agreement.

An agreement has been reached between UNEP Chairman Anup Kumar Upadhyay and SP Chairman Deepak Kumar Sah for electoral unity. UNEP, which claims to have Energy Minister Kulman Ghising as its patron, was announced on November 17.

Election unity between UNEP and SP Similarly, Janmat Party split and Deepak Kumar Sah formed Janaswaraj Party. That party was later registered with the Election Commission as Sarvodaya Party.
