Prime Minister Karki and top leaders of three parties hold first-ever conversation

Prime Minister Sushila Karki and top leaders of the three parties have held discussions. For the first time since the Gen-G movement, Prime Minister Karki has had a direct conversation with top leaders of the Nepali Congress, UML and NCP.

The talks were held in the presence of President Ram Chandra Poudel at Sheetal Niwas. President Poudel himself called the discussions. The top leaders of the three parties, including former Prime Ministers Sher Bahadur Deuba, KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal, are participating in the discussions. According to Sheetal Niwas sources, the discussions will focus on creating an environment for the elections. President Poudel had previously met Prime Minister Sushila Karki and the then Maoist Chairman Dahal during the formation and formation of the interim government.

However, there was no meeting with Deuba and Oli. The government is being criticized by the Congress and UML for failing to create an environment for the elections by assigning the seat to the then Prime Minister Oli and Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak.

UML Chairman Oli has been prioritizing the issue of restoring the House of Representatives, saying that the interim government and the dissolution of the House of Representatives are unconstitutional.

The Nepali Congress and the UML have filed separate writ petitions for the restoration of the House of Representatives. In the backdrop of the Nepali Congress preparing to submit a supplementary petition on Tuesday itself, signed by the majority of MPs from the two parties, President Poudel and Prime Minister Karki are set to discuss the issue of creating an environment for the election with Deuba, Oli and Dahal at Sheetal Niwas.
