President Poudel expressed confidence that the current government will complete its allotted term and hand over power to the elected government.
President Ram Chandra Poudel has said that the country risks further uncertainty if the Falgun 21 election is a draw.
President Poudel said this during a meeting with a delegation of the Human Rights and Peace Society on Monday.
'The country is no longer in a position to continue playing games, if the Falgun 21 election goes up and down, the country will go into uncertainty. That is why it is the responsibility of all Nepalis to make the Falgun 21 election a success,' said President Poudel. He said that this government should complete the specified time allotted to it and hand over to the elected government and leave.
The Peace Society has drawn the attention of President Poudel to create an environment where the election will be held on the announced date and democracy will return.
The delegation included the society's founding president Krishna Pahadi, founding member Krishna Kandel, president Renuka Poudel, outgoing president Ramkrishna Baral and other representatives.
