Rupandehi district under Lumbini Province has significant representation in the Central Committee of the CPN-UML. Out of the 53 people who have reached the Central Committee from Lumbini Province, 13 people, including the Vice-Chairman and Secretary, are from Rupandehi.

53 people, including 4 office bearers, have been elected to the central committee from Lumbini Province. The largest representation among them is from Rupandehi, the home district of Vice President Bishnu Poudel.

According to UML Rupandehi President Yagya Gaire, Bishnu Poudel has been elected as the vice president and Chhabilal Bishwokarma as the secretary from Rupandehi. Similarly, Khimlal Bhattarai, Dadhiram Neupane, Bhumishwar Dhakal, Gomadevi Acharya, Gopal Rana, Gyanu KC and Jalil Miyan have been elected as central members. Among them, Gopal Rana, Gyanu KC and Jalil Miyan have reached the central committee for the first time.

Gopal Bhattarai, Dr. Krishna Prasad Neupane and Rajendra Prasad Panthi have been elected as members of the disciplinary commission. Baburam Bishwokarma has been elected as a member of the accounts commission. Panthi of the disciplinary commission and Bishwokarma of the accounts commission have also reached the central committee for the first time.

District President Gaire said that there is a strong presence of Rupandehi in the central committee, including the vice president and secretary. "We sent 35 representatives, including one nominee, from Rupandehi to the convention," he said. "Of those sent from the district, 5 have been elected as central members. The remaining 8 have become representatives through the organizing committee and commission."

After Rupandehi, 9 people have been elected to the central committee from Dang district under Lumbini Province. 8 central members, including General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, have been elected from Dang. Narulal Chaudhary, Shanta Chaudhary, Ghanashyam Pandey, Menka Pokharel, Komal Wali, Jeevan Gautam, Sita Sigdel Neupane and Bhagwat Vishwasshi have been elected from Dang.

Four people, including Gokarna Bista, have been elected as vice-chairmen from Gulmi. Pradeep Gyawali, Jung Nepali and Ram Kumar Jhankri have been elected as members.

CPN-UML Lumbini Province Committee Chairman Radhakrishna Kandel informed that at least 53 people, including 21 women, have been elected from Lumbini Province. "Four people have been elected as office bearers, including the vice-president and general secretary," he said, "46 people, including 21 women, have been elected to the central committee and 3 people have been elected to various commissions."
