Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said that she is eager to hand over power to a new government that is in line with the people's will expressed through elections.

Speaking at a program organized on the occasion of the 107th founding day of Lalitpur Metropolitan City, she said this. Stating that a new situation has emerged in the country after the Gen-G youth movement on Bhadra 23 and 24, she said that good governance and elections are her main agenda.

She said that preparations have been made by working day and night with the determination to hold the House of Representatives elections scheduled for Falgun 21, and said, 'I urge everyone to cooperate from their respective places to hold the said elections in a less expensive, clean, impartial and fearless environment.'

Prime Minister Karki said that no kind of chaos should have a place in the society and also said that the security administration is capable and active in controlling chaotic and criminal activities such as disturbing the peace and taking the law into their own hands. She said, 'The community also has an equal role to resist bad elements. Let's join hands in this.'
