Voting for the UML general convention, which began at around 10 am, saw 1,430 votes cast by 11:30 pm.

According to election technician Laxman Rimal, if the voting continues at this pace, it is estimated that the voting will be completed by 6 am on Thursday. He said that it took time because one person has to vote for 332 people, including 31 central members and 31 from two commissions.

80 electronic machines have been set up for voting. 2,263 delegates from across the country are voting at the general convention. Although the UML has said that voting can be done until 10 pm, it is doubtful that the voting will be completed on time if the voting continues at this pace.

General Convention According to the Central Election Commission, 603 candidates have filed for 301 posts of the central committee. Among the office bearers, 2 have filed candidacies for the post of chairman (1), 11 for the post of vice-chairman (5), 2 for the post of general secretary (1), 7 for the post of deputy general secretary (3) and 20 for the post of secretary (9).
