The party of UML's presidential candidate KP Sharma Oli has released a list of candidates for the election to be held on Tuesday night under the 11th National Convention. UML's new leadership, LA Oli and Ishwor Pokharel, have entered the election fray along with their panel.
Central Election Commission Chairman Vijay Subba informed that 80 machines will be used for voting in the UML elections. According to Subba, it will take at least 25 to 30 minutes for a voter to vote. 2,262 delegates are participating in the general convention.
The UML general convention is ongoing in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. The inauguration was held at Sallaghari in Bhaktapur on Saturday.
