The party of Ishwor Pokharel, the candidate for the post of president of the UML, has made public the final list of candidates for the ongoing 11th National Convention.
According to the list, Pokharel is the chairman, Arun Nepal, Gokarna Bista, Tanka Prasad Karki, Binda Pandey, Parashuram Meghi Gurung are the vice-chairmen, Surendra Prasad Pandey is the general secretary, and Ananda Prasad Pokharel, Yogesh Bhattarai, and Baijnath Chaudhary are the deputy general secretaries.
Similarly, the secretaries are Agni Prasad Kharel, Indralal Sapkota, Karna Bahadur Thapa, Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Gokul Prasad Baskota, Thakur Prasad Gaire, Purushottam Poudel, Rachana Khadka, and Binod Dhakal.
Voting for the new leadership of UML will begin at Bhrikutimandap after some time. The general convention delegates are queuing up to vote. The voting, which was supposed to start at 7 o'clock, has not yet begun.
