At the party induction program organized by the Congress in Lalitpur today, General Secretary Thapa said that national power comes with national responsibility and that the country also has to pay the price when national power fails.
'Congress does not only need power for elections, it also needs power to give the country a way out, Congress is not just a party, it is also a national power,' General Secretary Thapa said, 'Congress needs courage and support, in the past, Congress brought the country out of violence, Congress has proven that it is a party that can win the country even after losing, Congress has tried to include everyone.'
No matter which party benefits from the election, the job of winning the country is that of Nepali Congress, General Secretary Thapa said that if the Congress does a good job, the voters will follow them.
Saying that it is not the Congress's job to elevate and excite the crowd, he said that it is their responsibility to take care of the citizens who have been affected by misrule and take the country to the heights of good governance and development.
