The establishment party has finalized the candidates for the 11th general convention of the UML. The candidates for the positions of office bearers and central members, including KP Sharma Oli, have been finalized.

According to sources close to Oli, Bishnu Poudel, Ramhadur Thapa, Guru Baral, Prithvisubba Gurung and Pradeep Gyawali have been nominated for the posts of Vice-Chairman. Shankar Pokharel has been re-elected as General Secretary.

Similarly, Raghubir Mahaseth, Bhanubhakta Dhakal and Bishnu Rimal have been nominated for the posts of Deputy General Secretary and Lekhraj Bhatta, Padma Aryal, Chhabilal Bishwakarma, Khagraj Adhikari, Yamalal Kandel, Sherdhan Rai, Hikmat Karki, Mahesh Basnet and Rajan Bhattarai have been nominated for the posts of Secretary.
