Nepali Congress Lamjung has recommended the names of 27 candidates for the upcoming House of Representatives and National Assembly elections scheduled to be held on Falgun 21.

Even though the center has issued a circular to recommend the names of as many as possible and if not, a maximum of 3 names while selecting candidates, the Congress Lamjung has recommended the names of all those who applied. The District Working Committee decided and recommended them to the province, and the province will make the selection.' He said that the names were recommended in Nepali alphabetical order.

The Congress has recommended the names of Gam Prasad Gurung, Chandra Bahadur Kunwar, Dikendra Raj Kandel, Tulsinarayan Shrestha, Bishnu Prasad Dhital, Brisha Raj Gurung, Rajkumar Gurung, Shivraj Rimal, Shailendra Ghimire, Subodh Babu Chiluwal and Yama Bahadur Gurung for direct elections to the House of Representatives.

Gam Prasad, who lost to party president Takraj Gurung in the district convention, is a member of the district working committee. Kunwar, who lost to UML's Prithvi Subba Gurung in the 2070 Constituent Assembly member election, is a former president of the district working committee. Kandel is a general convention representative, while Shrestha is a former president of the district working committee.

Dhital and Brisharaj are both former regional presidents. Rajkumar is a central member of the Nepali Sangh. Rimal is the former central treasurer of the Nepali Sangh. The names of Asmita Gurung, Kopila BK, Dhankumari Gurung, Bhiusin Damai, Bhim Bahadur Dura, Radhadevi Shrestha, Ramkrishna Baral, Sthirababu Khati, Santosh Neupane, Surendra Prasad Poudel, Humraj Dawadi and Gyanu Shah have been recommended for the proportional representation seat, according to the Lamjung Congress.

The names of Garj Bahadur Gurung, Tirtha Bahadur Thapa, Bishnumaya Neupane Dhital and Shubnath Mishra have been recommended for the National Assembly seat, according to the Lamjung Congress.
